RENTAL RULES

The Renter or Guarantor should follow and execute all following terms and conditions.

Vehicle means car or whatever is rented together with accessories.

One day rent means 24 hours and any extra will be calculated another full day rent.

The following documents are required upon handling over the vehicle:

Passport copy enclosed with the original valid passport in Roman alphabet (a notarized translation is required for Chinese customers)

Driving License Copy, enclosed with the original driving license that should be above one year old

Valid Credit Card​

Rental charges should be paid in advance unless there is a previous agreement.

A young Driver under 23 years old, will be surcharged of 20 AED per day. ​

A security amount is obtained/hold against vehicle damages, or theft and traffic fines (different amounts are possible depends on vehicle's type and rental’s period). This amount will be released after 15 days from end of rental.

​We accept credit cards from internationally recognized credit cards companies such as: American Express, MasterCard, Diners Club and Visa, to hold the security amount, and we do not accept any prepaid cards or debit cards (Visa Electron). The credit card should be valid for at least 3 months at the start of the rental. ​

Please note that, payments with credit card may require the PIN of the credit card.

The vehicle is delivered to the renter in a good condition according to check out list provided upon rent, and the renter undertakes to keep sufficient water & oil in the vehicle during use.

The renter should return the vehicle for the periodic service once required by Al-Buraq Car Rental.

The vehicle is supplied with a quantity of fuel & oil, and should be refilled with same quantity prior to return to Al-Buraq at the end of the rental period.

The renter can drive maximum 300 km per day (2,000 kms for weekly and 5,000 kms for monthly). Any excess above 300km will charges extra 50 Fls per Km.

Free Delivery/Collection of the vehicle within Dubai and during working hours.

Extra charges will be added for Delivery/Collection outside Dubai and out of opening Hours.

"Salik" fees may apply on each time the vehicle passes a "Salik toll station". AED 5.25 per crossing will be charged.

Moving or removing the “Salik” tag is not allowed and will be fined.

In Case of any mechanical damages that occur the vehicle, the renter should stop the vehicle and inform Al-Buraq immediately.

The renter is responsible for any damages occur if he repairs the vehicle without a written permission from Al-Buraq.
-
The renter should be responsible for all damages and repairs that occur to the vehicle during the rental period and he will pay the rent until repairing the damages.

The renter should inform the police and Al-Buraq immediately if any accident occurs to the vehicle, otherwise he will bear alone the full responsibility in front of concerned authorities.

If any accident occurs to the vehicle by the fault of the renter, then he is responsible for an excess amount of AED 2,000+20% penalty of any damages or loss and recovery charged.

If the driver’s age at the time of accident is less than 25 and/or the drive license is issued within less than one year, then the renter or guarantor is responsible for the full accident, as the insurance will not be responsible on this time.

In case of vehicle’s cancellation by the authorities due to accident during the rental period, the renter shall pay the cost of insurance policy, and any other amount that the insurance company shall discount according to its policy, plus the daily rental rate for the period spent in court if any.

But if the renter already paid the prior insurance cost of the vehicle upon contract agreement, in this case he shall be exempted of above mentioned insurance charges mentioned in clause No 7.

The renter is responsible about any complaint case or any obligation regarding the vehicles which occur within the rental period, also he is responsible in front of concerned authorities to use the vehicle to transport any forbidden items as per UAE laws, and he should pay full amount of the agreement until arrangement is reached with Al-Buraq and Authorities.

The renter undertakes to not allow the non-permitted person as per UAE law to drive the vehicle, and he bears the full responsibility in case he doesn’t respect the law.

The renter should not use the vehicle in any races, rallies or competitions.

The renter should not sub-hire the vehicle.

The renter undertakes to not stick any colored papers on the vehicle's glass or body, otherwise he should pay a minimum compensation of AED 500 for Al-Buraq, and he will bear alone the full responsibility in front of concerned authorities.

In case the renter removes any stickers or plastic shadowing from the vehicle, he must pay minimum AED 150.

All our vehicles are non-smoking, if the vehicle needs additional cleaning/smell-removal caused by smoking, a fee of AED 500.00 will be added to the invoice.

The renter must have returned the vehicle clean, otherwise he will be charged AED 50 for cleaning.

In the event of lost or damaged key, a fee of 2500.00 AED applies.

The vehicle is for the use within UAE only, as well as the insurance coverage.

Cross Border Rentals are on request only, and with extra charges. Please contact us with 48 hours prior and only during office hours to get approval.

The insurance does not cover any costs of transporting the vehicle back from Oman to the UAE.

By the end of rental period mentioned on the agreement, the renter should return the vehicle in a good condition as it was in time of receiving, and he can renew the rental agreement after settling all his dues and getting approval from Al-Buraq, otherwise each delaying day will cost double rate.

Al Buraq has the right to take the proper procedure against the renter if he did not execute the agreement conditions.
